In 1979 the Elter family bought and brought together the 3 large farms that made up the Val di Vico
The area was in a total state of neglect but with great passion and dedication all 5000 olive trees that made up the plot were recovered, bringing them back to their former glory. Even the buildings inside the valley, such as the Palazzaccio, which once formed the oil mill and the Casone, were renovated to give new life to the olive reality of the valley.
